Basil R. Hipple, 45, died
May 2, 2008
Funeral services for Basil R. Hipple, 45, of Sheridan will be 2 p.m.
Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Heine officiating.
Viewing will be 7-9 p.m. today and 8-10 a.m. Tuesday at Kane Funeral Home.
Mr. Hipple died May 2, 2008, in Forsyth, Mont., of unknown cause. He was
born Jan. 7, 1963, in Appleton, Minn., to Dick and Carol Hipple. After
graduating from high school, he received a bachelor's degree from the
University of North Dakota. He married Alicia Kupke on May 12, 2007, in
Lusk. He was an engineer for Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad. He was a
Wyoming lobbyist and legislative representative for the railroad union and a
member of Local 951. He was a member of ABATE of Northeast Wyoming (a
motorcycle rights and safety organization), Sheridan County Sportsmen's
Association, National Rifle Association, the Blackflies, and Immanuel
Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and riding
motorcycles. Survivors include his wife; his parents, of Bismarck, N.D.; a
sister, Candy Vogel of Oakes, N.D.; and a brother, Chuck of Lisbon, N.D.
